CWRA Responds to the ECCC Canada Water Agency Discussion Paper

The CWRA has been actively engaged with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and other water-focused organizations in Canada in discussions of the proposed Canada Water Agency (CWA). Our National Executive prepared and submitted a response document to the ECCC Discussion Paper, “Toward the Creation of a Canada Water Agency”.

The ECCC discussion paper, and a record of the public and stakeholder consultation on the Canada Water Agency, are available at the ECCC Place Speak Website. While public and stakeholder consultation on the CWA is closed, ECCC will continue indigenous engagement on the CWA through 2021.
