Are you curious to learn more about the legal aspects of a subject that is part of your daily life? This short webinar will cover the basics of water resources law and powers, its various aspects and some of the issues surrounding water and the law.

 

Speaker Bio: Laura holds a master’s degree in Environmental Law, Sustainable Development and Food Security from Laval University (LL.M). Previously, she studied law in Belgium and international studies in Quebec. During her graduate studies she worked for the Goldcorp Research Chair in Natural Resources and Energy Law where she became interested in Indigenous rights. She joined the First Nations Quebec Labrador Sustainable Institute (FNQLSDI) in November 2020 in the consultation sector as a project manager in environmental law, as this is a very important legal aspect according to her.
