Ontario‘s Flooding Strategy outlines the province’s next steps to reduce flood risk and help Ontarians be better prepared for flooding events. The strategy draws on and builds upon the expert advice of Doug McNeil, Ontario’s Special Advisor on Flooding and introduces a series of new and enhanced actions that will reduce flood risks and make Ontario more prepared for flooding in the future. Staff from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry will be providing an overview of the Strategy, how it was developed, and the actions it contains.
