Join the CWRA Ontario Branch for a hands-on workshop on the Raven Hydrological Modelling Framework! Raven is an easy-to-use software built for developing both simple and complex watershed models. Built for use in Canada, you can apply your hydrological models to a variety of different Canadian landscape units.
The course will be an introductory Raven course, and aimed at beginner to intermediate users of Raven. The two-day course will include hands-on exercises during course time and will cover topics on:
- Introduction to Hydrologic Modelling and Raven
- Basics of model development
- Model Creation and Advanced Applications
- Visualizing results with RavenView
- Introduction to RavenR
- Calibrating Raven models
The course will be held in-person at the Credit Valley Conservation Office and run from 9am-4pm each day. This will provide an opportunity for networking during the course. Lunch will be provided on both days to those attending in-person and registrants may provide any dietary restrictions to the course organizers in advance.
