Take part in a unique excursion to discover Hydro-Québec’s iconic hydroelectric facilities!
When: June 16 to 18, 2025
Registration fee: $120 per participant
Itinerary:
- Day 1 – June 16:
- Departure from École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal at 7:00 a.m.
- Stop at Université Laval (Quebec City) at 10:00 a.m. to pick up additional participants
- Arrival in Baie-Comeau at the end of the day. Overnight stay at the Travelodge by Wyndham hotel
- Day 2 – June 17:
- Technical tour of the Manic-2 and Manic-5 facilities (Daniel-Johnson Dam), generously hosted by Hydro-Québec
- Return to Baie-Comeau for a second overnight stay at the Travelodge by Wyndham hotel
- Day 3 – June 18:
- Return trip to Montreal (arrival at 5:00 p.m.) with a stop in Quebec City (1:00 p.m.)
Important information:
- Transportation by coach and 2 hotel nights (in double occupancy rooms) are included in the price
- Participants will share a double room (2 people)
- Meals and snacks are not included, except for hotel breakfast. Restaurants and a grocery store are located near the hotel in Baie-Comeau

- By registering for this activity, I agree to pay the full amount ($360) in the event of an unjustified absence.
- I consent to being photographed during the excursion, and I authorize ACRH and CentrEAU to use these images in their publications.
- I also acknowledge the risks inherent in this trip and, by participating voluntarily, I accept full responsibility for any associated risks. I release Université Laval, CentrEAU, and CWRA from any liability in case of injury, loss, or damage related to my participation.
