March 14, 2024 12PM CT: MB Branch Webinar Series: Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion Project Design and Construction Progress Update

This webinar will review the design and construction progress for the Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion project, which includes a stormwater diversion channel and embankment structures meant to protect over 260,000 people, their homes, businesses, and properties from flooding. The presentation will touch on the drivers for the project including some historic flooding in 2009 and others, as well as the innovative project delivery approach to design, construct and maintain the critical flood protection works along the Red River of the North that is modelled after the Red River Floodway in Winnipeg. The project is currently being constructed in North Dakota, and is scheduled for completion before the spring of 2027.
