Workshop: HEC-RAS with Advanced Applications – SK

September 17 – 18, 2019, Sandman Hotel, Regina, SK. The CWRA Saskatchewan Branch is excited to provide this course, through an extremely talented and experienced hydraulic modeler, on the US Army Corps of Engineer’s HEC-RAS model. Topics will include model setup, calibration, bridges and weirs, 1D flow separation, 1D unsteady analysis, 2D model setup, and 1D/2D connections. Students will be provided a workbook and will complete several exercises on their own laptop during the course. A basic understanding of open channel hydraulics is required but hydraulic modelling experience is not necessary. Both beginner and intermediate users will benefit from this course.
