January 29, 2021: CWRA National Midterm Workshop
This year, the CWRA Alberta Branch is pleased to host a one-day technical workshop immediately prior to the National Board of Directors’ midterm meeting.
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, CWRA is hosting the next National Midterm Workshop will be held online.
Date and time: January 29, 2021 fro, 09:11-13:00 MT.
The 2021 workshop will comprise a series of speakers from Natural Resources Canada and Alberta Environment and Parks. Topics include the latest developments in flood research, mapping and forecasting.

The CWRA relies heavily on the revenue received from event sponsorship to defray the costs of these events and support our operations. We are therefore pleased to announce that we have developed a new sponsorship program for our upcoming midterm workshop:

Standard (unlimited)
- Cost $350

Participation (unlimited)
- CWRA will recognize those organizations that allow more staff to attend
- Awarded to any organization that has a total registration cost of at least $350 based on cumulative member ($50) and non-member ($100) workshop registrations
