Across Canada, from sea to sea to sea, the CWRA - Project WET Canada Network has delivered workshops in all 10 provinces and all three territories.  Since the first preview workshop in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in June 1995, up to March 31, 2015, the Project WET Canada Network has trained 9,856 formal and informal educators, in 534 full certification workshops throughout Canada.

CWRA’s youth water education program, Project WET Canada, received a grant of $45,900 from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) through its 2018 PromoScience program. Three key program growth initiatives supported by the grant include:
  • French Projet WET program materials and a Facilitator Leadership Workshop for francophone and French Immersion teachers;

  • A Project WET 2.0 Facilitator Leadership Workshop for Northern and Indigenous educators; and,

  • Implementation of the new Project WET early childhood education (ECE) program, Getting Little Feet Wet
